Jens Lehmann Focused on EURO Prize

After resolving his club future, player Jens Lehmann stated that he was “completely focused” on Germany’s campaign at EURO 2008. Lehmann agreed on Tuesday to become the player of VfB Stuttgart, which he will join after the tournament in Switzerland and Austria.
However, the 38-year-old goalkeeper is now focused on EURO 2008, as he wants Germany to win the title. “Naturally I’m completely focussed ahead of this great tournament,” said Jens Lehmann.
“I would even say that I’m now more focussed than I was before the start of the [FIFA] World Cup in 2006. I had the loss in the Champions League final [of 2006 against FC Barcelona] at the back of my mind,” the German goalkeeper also added.
Germany will meet Poland in Klagenfurt on Sunday in their Group B opener.
