Letzigrund Stadium in Zurich Gets New Pitch

The Letzigrund Stadium in Zurich got a new pitch, so that it could ensure the optimum playing surface when it hosts three of EURO 2008 games.

The Letzigrund Stadium is both Grasshopper-Club and FC Zurich’s stadium, as the two clubs share it. The stadium’s old pitch had been used heavily during its existence and it was taken up after the end of the Swiss Super League season.
